Currently, the Republic's economy is invested more active by CIS, EU, U.S., Korea, UAE and others.

As 1.04.2009g. in the Crimea foreign investments amounting to 712.3 million dollars, including direct investments - 652.9 million dollars in loans - 59,4 million dollars.

The natural and climatic conditions favor the development of sanatorium and resort industry, which has international significance.

The most important and significant projects in sanatorium-resort industry include projects such as:

• “Construction of automototrack with infrastructure at the site 100ga by ZAO “Hotel Oreanda”. Investors of the project are Latvia, Banks of Ukraine.
• "Construction and operation by JV OOO “East Investments” of resort hotel of Teleckogo on the basis of the former children's health camp in Yalta.
• OOO “Kronos” is realizing project “Reconstruction, building and exploitation of sanatorium "Albatross" in Alushta”. An investor is Russian Federation.
• OOO “Palmira-Palas”, Building of modern resort hotel on the base of former 2th corps of sanatorium "Kurpaty". Invested by the costs of banks of Ukraine.
• OOO “Mindalnaya Rosha” is realizing the project "Construction and operation of resort-recreational complex" Mindalnaya Rosha "in Alushta.
• OOO “Krymbolgaryugservis”, "Construction of the first stage of the recreational complex" Aqua park ", the construction of a modern fleet of water-sport attractions with infrastructure". Investors: Great Britain, USA, Bank “Aval”.

But the economy of the Crimea - is not only a sanatorium and related industries, Crimea has all the necessary material and technical facilities and skilled manpower for the successful development of industry, agriculture, transport and communications.

In the Autonomous Republic of Crimea is well-developed branch structure of industrial complex, where the leader has mechanical engineering, chemical and food industries.

The industrial complex has the following major investment projects:

• OOO “Altzem” “Construction of a cement plant on the basis of partisan red limestone deposit the Leninsky district of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, including the construction of its own gas piston CHP”. The project is implemented at their own expense.

• ZAO “Krymskiytitan” is realizing project "The development of titanium dioxide production, increase production capacity, upgrading technology and improving product quality, building a complex for production of sulfuric acid capacity of 1818.2 tons per day. Investor is Germany.
• ZAO “AEgaz-Terminal”, "Construction of the terminal for handling liquefied coal hydrogen gas in the city of Kerch”. Investor is Kazakhstan.

Agriculture of the Crimea is historically focused on the development of agriculture, horticulture, viticulture, growing grain, tobacco, and ether-oil plants. Agriculture in the Crimea is represented by such investment projects as:

• "The technology of growing grapes on drip irrigation, mechanized cutting, cleaning and grinding of the vine in the Kirov region, OAO “Starokrymskyi” is realizing the project.
• "Integrated services in crop production in Krasnoperekopskiy area”, OOO" Avis Agro Siwash" is realizing the project.
